ABOUT US: SDP International is a perfect platform for you to network, campaign and advocate for immigrants in Finland. The Social Democratic Party of Finland, started this project in 2023. The purpose is to lower the barriers to reach immigrants for political engagement, participation and integration.

The primary objectives are:

To lower the language barrier to engage immigrants.
To organize a nationwide network.
To create content in English to reach the international community.
To train and support immigrant leadership of SDP.
To provide information about elections and events.
To increase the immigrants’ membership in the party.
To create a party branch/brand for the immigrants, which primarily focus on international events and campaigns.
To organize conventions and podcast series.
To celebrate cultures and diversity.
To advocate and protect immigrants rights

This is a first of its kind project in Finland started by any political party. We are reaching out to communities and associations for their support. It will be great if you could join us, your support means the world to us.
