SDP International General Meeting

Welcome to the SDP International General Meeting on Wednesday, June 10th at 17:00. The meeting will be held at the SDP Headquarters (Siltasaarenkatu 18-20 C, 6th floor).

This is a pivotal meeting as we transition the leadership and elect new members to drive our international activities forward.

AGENDA OF THE MEETING

1. Opening of the meeting
2. Election of meeting officials
3. Annual rotation of the Chair: Handover from Vantaa to Helsinki
4. Election of four (4) Board Members for 2026-2027
5. Upcoming events and activities for the autumn season
6. Any other business
7. Closing of the meeting

THE SDP INTERNATIONAL BOARD The Board consists of the Chairs of the local SDP International branches (The Presidium) and four board members.

We are now looking for four board members to take responsibility for key areas:

• Communications
• Event planning
• Secretarial duties
• Membership engagement

We encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply. Together with the Presidium, you will form a project team responsible for organizing meetings and impactful events. The term for the board is one year.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

• Register for the meeting: Please sign up by June 7th via this link.
• Run for the board: If you are interested in a board position, please submit your application using this form by May 17th. Candidate profiles will be shared with the membership before the meeting.
